Merriest Moments

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving. I was out of town until Wednesday afternoon, so my card did not get made until today (Friday). Here is what I made to share with you today. Here we go…

Merriest moments stamps #156353, mini catalog
Merriest frames #156385, mini catalog
Real red card-stock, cut at 5 1/2x 8 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 #1102482
Real red ink #147084
Shaded spruce ink #147088
Daffodil delight ink #147094
Brushed metallic card-stock, cut at 5 1/2x 4 1/4, #153524
Basic white card-stock, cut at 5 1/4x 4 and a scrap piece for the sentiment in the center #159276
Dimenionals #104430
Stampin’ seal #152813
Cut and emboss machine #149653
Paper trimmer #152392
Mono glue #1

I used a retired designer series paper as my base card front. You can use any paper that you have to match the card you want to make. It’s cut at 5 1/4x 4”. So to start you will be folding your real red card base in half and adhere your DSP to the front of it. Using the cut and emboss machine and the gold metallic paper you will use the embossing folder and the die that fits inside of it to cut and emboss at the same time. This is such a quick and easy way to make a big wow on your projects. Now we are going to do some stamping. With te real red ink, stamp out the large and small poinsettias, stamp both twice. Next stamp four of the small holly leaves with the shaded spruce ink and stamp two of the centers in the daffodil delight ink. Then you are going to cut all of those pieces out using the matching dies and the cut & emboss machine. One last cut using the basic white and the rectangle die for the sentiment. Now stamp your sentiment with real red ink.
For the rest of your assembly, adhere your gold piece to the center of your card. Adhere your sentiment in the center of the gold piece. Put your flowers together using your stampin’ seal tape or mono glue. Then with dimenionals pop up the poinsettias in opposite corners. On the inside, stamp a sentiment in real red ink on the basic white, 5 1/4x 4. Adhere that piece to the inside. If you want, you can stamp and cut one of the small poinsettias and holly leaves. Then adhere it to the right bottom corner of the inside piece. Done and done. You’re ready to send off your first card.

Christmas season

Good evening crafty friends, so today I found a beautiful card on Pinterest inspired by Pat Fairless. I loved the color combo she used on this card. I didn’t have all of the elements she used so I found something that worked. I also used pear pizzazz instead of soft seafoam for my green. Here we go…

The bundle used today was “Christmas season” stamp set #156293
Seasonal labels dies #156299
Sentiment was from “Christmas to remember” #156300
The card base is Smokey slate card-stock #131202 cut at 8 1/2 x 5 1/2, scored at 4 1/4 then folded in half.
Pool party card-stock #122924, cut at 4 x 5 1/4, and scrap for sentiment strip.
Basic white card-stock #159276, cut at 5 x 3 3/4 (2) and a scrap to stamp two pine cones
Pear pizzazz ink #147104
Pool party ink #147107
Smokey slate ink #147113
Basic gray ink #121044
Pool Party stampin’ blends #1154894
Silver foil specialty pack #156457
White crinkle seam binding ribbon #151326
Paper trimmer #152392
Mini stampin’ cut & emboss machine #150673
Pearl basics Jewels #144219
Stampin’ seal #152813
Mini glue dots #103683
Stampin’ dimenionals #104430
Stampin’ emboss powders/ white #155554
Heat tool #129053
Versa mark ink #102283

Fold card base in half and adhere the pool party piece to the front of your card. On one of the basic white pieces you are going to stamp the rounded leaf bunch in pool party ink three times. Two near the top sides and one at the bottom. Then with the pear pizzazz ink, stamp the pointed leafs three times next to the other leaves. Now on the piece of basic white scrap and the basic gray and Smokey slate ink, stamp out two pinecones. Cut those out using the mini cut & emboss machine. The silver leaves are cut from the framed florets dies, or any vine type leaf die you might have and cut two of those. From the “Christmas to remember” stamp set take the “Tis the season” sentiment and stamp it with versa mark ink on the scrap piece of pool party. With a piece of paper on your table pour the embossing powder on the versa mark sentiment piece then tap off excess, bent the scrap paper and return excess powder back into the jar. Heat up the heat tool a little before you start to melt your embossing powder on your sentiment strip. Next take the smallest tag die from “seasonal label” dies and cut out your sentiment. Adhere the silver pieces in two opposite, upper and lower corners. Using dimenionals place the two pine cones in the middle of the basic white piece. Adhere the sentiment piece with dimenionals near the right bottom of card front rear pine cones. Using the dots stamp and Smokey slate ink, stamp off and then stamp the dots in the empty areas of the card front. Adhere this piece to the pool party on the front of the card. On the inside of the card using the other basic white card-stock, stamp three pine needle bunches in two of the opposite corners and stamp the “Merry Christmas” sentiment in Smokey slate in the middle. Adhere this piece to the inside of your card. DONE!

I hope you enjoyed making this card as much as I did. It was an easy but elegant card to make. I will be making more with different sentiments. If you need any of the products used today you can purchase them at…

Fitting florets bundle

Hello crafty friends, today I made another card for a card challenge. This one was an easy challenge all we had to do was make a christmas card. I have been having fun making different cards with this set. I will show a couple more at the end. Right now this is what I used.

Fitting florets bundle #162407

Fitting closets DSP 12x12 #161814, cut at 2 7/16 x 4 (2)

Soft succulent card stock #155776, Cut at 11 x 4 1/4, scored at 2 3/4 on either side. Another piece to die cut the frame.

Poppy parade card stock #119793, cut at 2 9/16 x 4 1/16 (2)

Basic white card stock #159276, cut at 4 x 3 1/2 for inside, scraps for the oval and to stamp flowers on.

Poppy parade blends #154958

Soft succulent blends #155521

Memento bleach ink #132708

Poppy parade ink #155778

Mini cut & emboss machine #150673

Dimenionals #104430

Red rhinestone basic jewels #146924

Stampin seal #152813

Paper trimmer #152392

Wink of Stella #141897

Fold the two sides of your card base to the center. Adhere the poppy parade card stock and the DSP to each side of the front panels. Stamp, color and cut out the flowers. Using your mini cut & emboss machine cut out the oval frame from basic white and soft succulent card stock. Using the soft succulent frame and the basic white oval stamp your sentiment on the right side of your oval. I used a sentiment from the merriest moments stamp set #156353. Using stampin seal tape runner, adhere only the left side of the oval and frame to the left panel of your card. With dimenionals adhere the flowers to the left upper side of the frame and oval. Place three of the red jewels to the front f the card. Adhere the basic white piece to the inside of your card. And there you go, a beautiful christmas card.

Thank you for stopping by. I hope you all enjoyed the card we made today. If you need any of these items you can go to…

Celebrate With Tags Dies

Hello, hello, today I am just using the dies from this bundle. I made these tags for a color challenge. This die set has so many pieces that can be used for any occasion. As you can see I made a Christmas birthday gift card holder and a birthday tag card. You have room inside to write a note. The gift card holder would make great Christmas tree ornaments to hang on your tree. I used these colors because they were the ones chosen for us to use. But you can use any colors you want.  I used I used the white crinkle ribbon and stampin’ blends to get te colors I needed for the challenge. There is no limit with this set of dies. You can go to my shopping page to order the
