Cottage Wreaths

Hello friends, today’s card was made with “cottage wreaths” Bundle. Let’s get started…

Crumb cake cardstock, cut at 5 1/2x 8 1/2 for the card base, scored at 4 1/4. Crumb cake cardstock cut at 4 x 5 1/4. Emboss this piece using the timber 3D embossing folder. Cut a piece of Abigail Rose DSP at 2 x 5 1/4.  Adhere this DSP to the left side of the embossed crumb cake  piece. Then adhere that part to the front of the card base. Now on a piece of basic white cardstock and old olive ink stamp the leafy wreath. Then with early espresso ink stamp the twig wreath on top of the old olive wreath. Then with crumb cake ink stamp 5 acorns and with pumpkin pie ink stamp a bow. When you are finished stamping use the coordinating dies to cut out all of the pieces. I used some DSP that was from the sale-a-bration catalog. You can use what ever you have, to make the center of your wreath. Using mini dimenionals to adhere the acorns and the bow to the wreath. If you have something to put in the center of the wreath do that now. Using some more dimenionals adhere the wreath to the front of your card. Using the double oval punch and basic white cardstock punch out the oval shape. Punch out the scalloped piece from gold paper. I used pacific point ink to stamp my sentiment. You can use any sentiment you would like. Adhere the oval to the scalloped oval. Using the brushed metal dots to embellish the rest of your card.

Bewitching bundle

Hello friends, happy October. Just look at this cute card and so easy to make. Here we go…

Black card stock cut at 11x 4 1/4, scored at 5 1/2 for your card base.  Cut a piece of In color glimmer paper, parakeet party, die cut using the largest deckled rectangle dies. Gorgeous grape card stock die cut using the next largest deckled rectangle. On a piece of basic white card stock, stamp 3 witches hats and one set of legs. To get a darker image it’s best to use the stamparatus. This helps you stamp multiple times in the same place allowing for a crisper image. Using stampin’ blends, color in the images. I used parakeet party, Tahitian tide, melon mambo. Using the punch from the bundle punch out the hats and with scissors, cut out the legs. On Tahitian tide card stock and using the alphabest bundle, stamp and punch out the word “BOO!”.

Time to assemble. Adhere the glimmer paper to the front of your card base and the gorgeous grape on top of that. Adhere the legs near the bottom right of the card front. Glue down the first hat just above the legs. Using dimenionals adhere the other two hats, tilted at an angle to the left. With black ink stamp on the spider dangling from the top hat. Using more dimenionals adhere your “BOO!” Sentiment on the lower left side of your card. For the inside cut a 5x 4 piece of basic white card stock and adhere that to the inside of your card and stamp your sentiment. Happy Halloween!

Today I made a super easy card. All I used were the gnomes dies and storybook gnomes designer series paper. What’s so wonderful about the DSP from stampin’ up is that you don’t always need to buy a bundle to make great cards. Here is an example of that.
We will start with Pale papaya card stock cut 4 1/4 x 11, scored at 5 1/2 for your card base. Cut a piece of calypso coral at 5 1/4 x 4 this will be used for matting your DSP. Find the piece of DSP that has the mushrooms all over it. Cut that piece at 5 x 3 3/4. This will be adhered to the top of your calypso coral piece. Now here is where it gets easy. Find the designer series paper that has the gnomes on it. The dies can be used to cut out the gnomes on this page. The ones I used for this card were the ones with the pale papaya and calypso coral hats. Now find the paper with the large mushrooms on it. Same thing here take the mushroom die and cut out the one with the calypso coral top. But here is the really good part you don’t even need the dies, if you don’t mind fussy cutting. Now place dimensionals on the back of the mushroom and gnomes. Adhere the mushroom near the top middle of the piece of DSP and the gnomes on either side of the mushroom just slightly lower. On a piece of  basic white card stock and calypso coral ink stamp the “warn wishes” sentiment. Die cut label using the label from the quiet meadow set, or any sentiment strip you have. With dimensionals adhere this to the bottom of your card front. If you haven’t done so yet adhere this panel to your calypso coral card stock. Then adhere this to your card front.

Supplies need:

Calypso coral card stock #122925

Pale papaya card stock #155668

Calypso coral ink #147101

Storybook gnomes designer series paper #159615

Gnomes dies #159625

Dimenionals  #104430

Stampin’in seal #152813
